A good cranking rod (7ft 10 “) Crank’in Stick is a must, 8 lb test line this bait has reached depths of 23'-25'. You can sling like a rock, and plow the bottom. This is the bait Jason Quinn used to help with a 6th place finish in the 2004 classic. It also can be seen on the classic patterns 2006 deep cranking humps.
